How many years have you been in education? I have been in education for 13 years.
Tells us about your family. I have been married to Marc Key for 11 years. We have two children. Addison is a 5th grader at Jones Intermediate and Griffin is a Kindergartener at BHT. We are so proud of both of them and thrilled that they get to grow up as Mount Airy Granite Bears just as I did. We have two dogs named Knox and Callie.
What is your favorite part of the year and why? Although I am a warm weather girl, I would have to say that my favorite time of year is during the winter when we get snow. I have never been much of a snow lover, but the older I get the more I love the way snow seems to slow us down and help us focus on and enjoy the important things in life. We spend time together as a family just relaxing at home and that is what life is all about. I love those simple moments in life.
