Mrs. Cox attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she majored in Child and Family Development. She received her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from High Point University. Before becoming an assistant principal Mrs. Cox spent 11 years in the classroom as a successful pre-school teacher. She spent eight years as a Lead Teacher. Mrs. Cox has two children currently attending Mount Airy City Schools.
