With a rate of 92.4%, Mount Airy City Schools ranked 7th in the state for the highest graduation rate. The district was honored at a luncheon in Durham and received a plaque to represent the hard work and dedication of staff and students.
Dr. Greg Little celebrated the recognition by stating, “Our students are so successful because we have an amazing staff from kindergarten through 12th grade who go above and beyond for our children each and every day. Our staff, teachers, and administrators create hope as they challenge, nurture, and support our students in reaching their full potential. I am so proud of how they enable our students to dream big in all that they do.”
