Summer Hours
Beginning Monday, June 10 summer hours for Central Office and each school will be 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday. Summer hours will end Friday, July 26.
Locations: Community Central Office, Tharrington Primary, Jones Intermediate, Mount Airy Middle School, and Mount Airy High School
Special Note: All schools and the Central Office will be closed Thursday, July 4th.

Mount Airy City Schools School Nutrition Program will be offering FREE meals this summer in Mount Airy High School’s cafeteria located at 1011 N. South Street. This will run Monday-Friday, June 17-July 26. (No lunch will be served on July 4th)
Breakfast will be served 8:00-8:30am.
Lunch will be served 11:00am-12:30pm.
Ages: 18 and younger

For the first time, Mount Airy City Schools is offering summer book checkout for elementary students at Tharrington Primary School. This offering will run Monday, June 17-July 25 Monday-Thursdays from 9:00-12:00. (The media center will be closed July 1-July 4.)

We are excited to be offering over 20 FREE summer camps for students! For students registered for summer camp, please note the times below.
Week 1- June 17-20 and Week 2- June 24-27
Daily Schedule will be 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Week 3- July 8-11 and Week 4- July 15-18 and Week 5- July 22-25
Daily Schedule will be 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
Students attending camp at Tharrington Primary School should be dropped off through the car rider line found on Culbert Street.
Students attending camp at Mount Airy High School should be dropped off at the Commons Area located off of Orchard Street. The Commons Area
